Patrimonio y difusión didáctica: El Programa “La Alhambra Educa”.

Abstract

Con este artículo se pretende mostrar la importancia del monumento de la Alhambra como recurso didáctico, poniendo en valor, para escolares de diversas edades y otros grupos sociales, sus diversos aspectos históricos, culturales y artísticos. La difusión e interpretación de estos valores dentro del ámbito escolar resulta fundamental no sólo para entender adecuadamente el monumento, sino también para que las generaciones más jóvenes tomen consciencia de la importancia de su conservación, más allá de lo turístico y anecdótico, alejándolos de los tópicos para integrarlo en sus vivencias personales y reforzando su aprecio.

Our goal in this paper is to focus in the Alhambra´s importance as a didactic resource, disseminating different aged pupils, and other social groups, its rich and diverse historic, cultural and artistic values. The diffusion and interpretation of these values within the scholar context is essential not only for the monument´s correct understanding, but also to spread among the younger generations the importance of its conservation, going beyond the touristic dimension, and moving them away from the topics to integrate the monument into their personal experiences, fostering its wider appreciation.
