La gran guerra romano-persa y los orígenes de la gran Bulgaria. 585-630

Abstract

El surgimiento del primer imperio búlgaro hacia 630 fue un acontecimiento de amplia repercusión en la futura historia de Europa.En este trabajo trataremos de clarificar las circunstancias que concurrieron en el surgimiento de este nuevo estado e intentaremos demostrar que en última instancia la aparición del primer imperio búlgaro estuvo íntimamente ligada a los avatares de la guerra romano-persa de 602-628 y a la política de alianzas puesta en marcha por bizantinos y persas entre los pueblos de las estepas.

The emergence of the first Bulgarian Empire by the year 630 was an event of high impact on the future history of Europe.In this paper we will try not only to clarify the circumstances surrounding the emergence of this new state, but also to demonstrate that ultimately the appearance of the first Bulgarian Empire was closely linked to the vicissitudes of the Roman-Persian war of 602-628, and to the alliance policy initiated by Byzantines and Persians among the peoples of the steppes.
