dc.description.abstract | La presse française au XIXe siècle pour la jeunesse reflète la question sociale et ses
problématiques propres à l’époque avec la question de la promotion sociale et des barrières
que pose une élite contre l’égalité, de l’héritage et de la transmission des patrimoines. Antonin
Perbosc instituteur et félibre a établi un projet de bibliothèques scolaires. Malgré les mesures
en faveur de l’instruction, des barrières sont maintenues entre les classes sociales. Des efforts
sont effectués pour la sauvegarde des patrimoines, que ce soit en lien avec le terroir ou les
patrimoines financiers. Les journaux des patronages permettent de regrouper des cercles
féminins agricoles. La Première Guerre mondiale marque le tournant de cette société en

dc.description.abstract | The XIXth century youth press in France, reflects social issues and the specific
problems they raised at a given time along with the question of social promotion and of the
barriers raised by an elite to counter equality both in terms of heritage and of the
transmission of it. Antonin Perbosc, as a primary school teacher and as a “felibrige”
(dedicated to the transmission of Southern France Heritage) planned the creation of reading
libraries within the school. In spite of measures in favour of education, barriers remained
between social classes. Efforts were carried out to save the heritage, whether linked with
regional or financial heritage. The press developed in youth organisations allowed female
youth in agricultural regions to form female circles among agricultural hands. World War I is
