Prácticas emergentes de creación colectiva y networking audiovisual

Abstract

La presente comunicación analiza las profundas transformaciones que Internet y el resto de medios y tecnologías de comunicación digital han comportado para la acción comunicativa audiovisual contemporánea, poniendo especial énfasis en las crecientes posibilidades de autonomía, adaptación, creación colectiva, iniciativa en la configuración y definición de las propias herramientas y dinámicas de trabajo por parte de los usuarios de obras y proyectos audiovisuales emergentes en y desde Internet. Tras un análisis detallado de conceptos básicos sobre libertad y cultura colaborativa, se ofrece un recorrido por una selección representativa de ejemplos y proyectos audiovisuales participativos de creación on-line, que sirven de muestra e ilustran las significativas implicaciones sociales y culturales que conlleva el uso de recursos libres y de código abierto en los procesos de trabajo audiovisual.

This paper analyses the profound changes that internet and the other digital communication technologies and media have brought with them in terms of contemporary audiovisual communicative action, placing special emphasis on the growing possibilities for autonomy, adaptation, collective creation, initiatives in the configuration and definition of the tools themselves for users of emergent works and media projects in and from the Internet. Following a detailed analysis of the basic concepts of freedom and collaborative culture, it offers a wide-ranging look at a representative selection of online participative audiovisual creation projects that highlight and illustrate the important social and cultural implications of the use of open source and free resources in audiovisual working processes.
