dc.description.abstractThe main aim of this study was to verify if any gender differences exist in normative orientation towards work. Likewise, we analyzed the impact of the occupational level on the evaluations of normative orientations towards work. A sample of 267 workers 128 males and 139 females- was chosen from three different jobs. Results reveal that there were no significant gender differences in normative orientation towards work as a right nor in normative orientation towards work as a obligation. Nevertheless, significant differences were found with regard to occupational level, in such a way that workers who held jobs with a lower occupational level showed a higher evaluation of work as an obligation than those who held jobs with a higher occupational leveles_ES
