La autoficción como poética: el mundo de Juan José Millás

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo analizar el empleo de la autoficción en la novela El mundo, del escritor valenciano Juan José Millás (2009). Proponemos entender el recurso de la autoficción como el mecanismo que le permite a Millás, en primer lugar, referir por escrito la propia experiencia vital literaturizada, y en segundo lugar, ofrecer al lector una explicación respecto de lo que moviliza su escritura, a fin de legitimar diversos aspectos de su poética. A través de la autoficción, Millás interpela al lector a través de la perspectiva individual de un narrador escritor para que reconozca su propia visión del mundo en las vivencias de un yo a la vez autobiográfico y novelado. Como cierre, postularemos que esta estrategia de enunciación se vincula con el realismo posmoderno teorizado por Joan Oleza, en tanto constituye un modo de referir la realidad desde el convencimiento de su carácter inestable y subjetivo.

The present work aims to analyze the use of autofiction in the valencian writer Juan José Millás’ novel El mundo (2009). We propose to understand the resource of autofiction as the mechanism that allows Millás, in first place, to refer in writing the literaturized life experience itself, and in second place, to offer the reader an explanation as to what mobilizes his writing, in order to legitimize various aspects of his poetics. By means of autofiction, Millás interpellates the reader through the individual perspective of a writer narrator to recognize his own vision of the world in the experiences of a self at once autobiographical and fictional. As close, we will postulate that this strategy of enunciation is linked to the postmodern realism theorized by Joan Oleza, inasmuch as it constitutes a way of referring reality from the conviction of its unstable and subjective character.
