Abstract
Los libros poéticos Oscura noticia (1944) y Hombre y Dios (1955), de Dámaso Alonso, unidos editorialmente desde 1959, son importantes. El primero, que posee un claro carácter antológico al recoger poemas escritos entre 1919 y 1943, ofrece una parte inicial, que da título al libro todo, no menos renovadora que Hijos de la ira, también de 1944, resultando su lectura indispensable para la comprensión del citado renovador libro. Hombre y Dios, por su parte, que responde a un momento de escritura concretísimo, posee una sorprendente estructura compositiva interna. Es otro libro, a pesar de desarrollar ciertos conocidos temas y procedimientos y a pesar de coincidir en una común preocupación poética religiosa. Pues bien, la introducción a la edición consta de los apartados "El poeta y el crítico, "Poesía y poética: Por caminos de belleza a zarpazos", "De Oscura noticia" y "De Hombre y Dios".
