Abstract
El archivo Histórico de Protocolos de Zaragoza contiene un gran arsenal de noticias documentales sobre los moriscos, de los XV y XVI. Durante la investigación se han observados cientos de contratos, actas, etc., otorgados por moros aragoneses, unas veces solos y otras corporativamente, actuando en función de la respectiva Aljama. y así, los moros de los pueblos vienen a Zaragoza a vender el carbón, la caza, el azafrán, etc., y los de ciudad son espaderos, ballesteros, borceguineros, herreros, etc. y destacan, sobre todo, como Maestros de Casas, especializados en el precioso arte mudéjar de las torres y ábsides y en los artesonados de los grandes palacios. Por excepción, se ha visto un médico (Mahoma Calavera) y algunos menestrales (o albéigtares).
