Las notas manuscritas como fuente sobre la Granada del siglo XV: La gran inundación del año 1478 en un manuscrito Escurialense

Abstract

Este artículo intenta poner de relieve el inmenso potencial de las notas manuscritas para el estudio de la Granada Nazarí de la última mitad del siglo XV. Se centra en el contexto de esta producción manuscrita y literaria y presenta la edición y traducción de una nota sobre la gran inundación Granadina del año 1478. Dicha nota se encuentra en el manuscrito árabe número 853 de la Real Biblioteca del Monasterio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial. La calidad y valor de la informacón mostrada por el manuscrito deberían servir como impulso para el estudio de este tipo de material.

Attempts to highlight the great potential of manuscript notes for the study of Nasrid Granada in the second half of the fifteenth century. It focuses on the context of this manuscript and literary production and presents an edition and translation of a note about the great flood of 1478 in Granada included in the Arabic manuscript n. 853 in the Library of the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. The quality and value of the information offered by this manuscript note should serve as an impetus for the study of this type of material in the future.
