De forma tradicional los planes de estudio universitarios se han caracterizado por la desconexión
disciplinar. En la actualidad, la universidad se encuentra en un proceso de cambio y de transformación
cultural donde, afortunadamente, la coordinación y la cooperación docente se revelan como estructuras
fundamentales sobre las que articular un nuevo modelo docente, de desarrollo profesional y
organizativo. Estos no son mecanismos novedosos o desconocidos en el ámbito educativo, pero en el
contexto universitario introduce una nueva cultura basada en el establecimiento de redes entre el
profesorado o de relaciones profesionales de colaboración, que pueden hacer florecer una nueva forma
de entender la profesión docente y el proceso educativo universitario, una estructura fundamental
sobre la que desarrollar actividades conjuntas, que tiende cada vez más hacia la creación de una
cultura compartida.
Este trabajo es una continuidad de los Proyectos de Innovación que tiene como finalidad analizar y
reflexionar sobre el proceso de implementación de los nuevos Grados para la mejora de la docencia
Universitaria. En este trabajo, más concretamente, se pone de manifiesto como la coordinación puede ser
entendida como uno de los elementos claves sobre el que articular las nuevas titulaciones para su
buen funcionamiento, al amparo de Bolonia. En definitiva, la coordinación asume en este
escenario un papel importante, reflexionaremos sobre los problemas y retos que se plantean en
el ámbito universitario a partir de las aportaciones del profesorado implicado. Nadie pone en
duda las ventajas y necesidad de coordinación para la mejora del proceso educativo pero ¿qué
está ocurriendo realmente en las Universidades españolas? Traditionally, university curricula have been characterized by discipline disconnection. At
present the university is in a process of change and cultural transformation where fortunately
the new university rebel coordination and cooperation as fundamental structures on which to
articulate a new model of teaching, professional and organizational development. These are not
new or unknown mechanisms in education, but in the university context introduces a new culture
based on networking among teachers or collaborative professional relationships that can blossom
a new way of understanding the teaching profession and the university educational process, a
fundamental structure on which to develop joint activities, which tends increasingly towards a
shared culture.
This work is a continuity of the Projects of Innovation that it has as purpose analyze and think
over on the process of implementation of the new Degrees for the improvement of the University
teaching. his paper, more concretely highlights the coordination can be understood as one of the
key elements which are articulated in the new qualifications for smooth operation, under
Bologna. In short, coordination in this scenario assumes an important role, reflect on the
problems and challenges in the university contributions from teachers. Nobody doubts the
benefits and the need for coordination to improve the educational process but what is really
happening in the spanish universities?
