Desde la lucha entre historiografías nacionales hacia la narraciónpuente; el caso de Palestina/Israel

Abstract

Cualquier movimiento nacionalista necesita la creación de una identidad colectiva compartida por el grupo humano interesado. La Historia es una de las herramientas fundamentales en este proceso. En Palestina/Israel la narración histórica se ha convertido en otro campo de batalla donde las comunidades involucradas en el conflicto han luchado para excluir al otro de su propia historia. Analizaremos las posturas mayoritarias en los dos bandos y evidenciaremos sus límites, y luego la “narración-puente”, un instrumento intelectual forjado por dos historiadores provenientes de las dos comunidades enfrentadas en el intento de ir más allá de las visiones excluyentes que hasta hoy en día han dominado el debate.

Every nationalist movement needs the creation of a collective identity shared by the interested human group. History is one of the main tools in this process. In Palestine/Israel the historical narrative become another battlefield where the communities involved in the conflict fought in order to exclude one another from their own history. We will analyses the official historical narratives from both sides highlighting their limits, and secondly the “bridge-narrative”, an intellectual tool coined by two historians coming from the two embattled communities in order to go beyond the exclusive approach that dominated the debate so far.
