Mathematics learning disabilities (MLD), often appear together with different syndromes and/or conditions present today in classrooms, among which the following have been highlighted: Spina Bifida, Turner Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome and Williams Syndrome. The aim of this research study is to review and synthesize syndromes associated with MLD as a base to support future interventions. This research has a key role for teachers as it is intended to facilitate the detection of difficulties and on the other hand, guide interventions, once the difficulties that these syndromes may involve are known. For the review a comprehensive search of the literature was conducted in the databases: Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) and ISI Web of Science. The search was performed using keywords like "Mathematical Learning Disability", "Spina Bifida", "Turner Syndrome", "Fragile X Syndrome", "Williams Syndrome", "Dyscalculia", "Acalculya", "Math Disabilites" "Arithmetic Disabilities", "Word Problem Learning Disabilities" and "Math Disorders". The results served to clarify the characteristics of the syndromes, as well as in the case of Spina Bifida, which in a large number of cases is accompanied by hydrocephalus, which we have collected information about for the understanding of readers of this article. As a result of these searches, we have been able to find out the main features of the syndromes investigated providing a knowledge of them which facilitates diagnosis as well as the math problems associated with these disorders.es_ES
