Tres modelos de patas de arquetas nazaríes

Abstract

Se estudian tres modelos de patas de bronce de cajas nazaríes, datables entre 1345 a 1354 por la hallada en la Puerta de las Albercas de la Alhambra, construida por Yusuf I. Además del ejemplar del Museo de la Alhambra, hay otros dos tipos en el Instituto de Valencia de Don Juan de Madrid, uno en las cuatro patas de una caja de taracea y otro en un ejemplar único, sin duda el más bello y mejor ejecutado de los tres modelos.

Studied here three typesof bronce legs of nasrid boxes, datable to between 1345 and 1354 as they were found in the concrete of the Puerta de las Albercas of the Alhambra, built by Yusuf I. Apart from this item in the Museo de la Alhambra, there are two other types in the Instituto de Valencia de Don Juan of Madrid: one type being the four legs of an inlaid box, the other a single item which is without doubt the finest of the three types.
