dc.description.abstractEl tema erótico-amoroso (gazal) es uno de los principales géneros que están presentes en el Diwan de Abu Hayyan al-Garnati (1256-1344), poeta de origen andalusí que emigró a Egipto donde permaneció hasta su muerte, convirtiéndose en una de las figuras más importantes de la capital egipcia en diferentes campos del saber. Su gazal destaca por su originalidad en tratar determinados temas no habituales en este género como son los poemas dedicados a figuras masculinas con alguna tacha física. Es autor también de dos muwašahat dedicadas a sendos gilman.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe erotic-amorous theme (gazal) is one of the principle genres present in the Diwan of Abu Hayyan al-Garnati (1256-1344), poet of andalusí origin who emigrated to Egypt where he remained until his death. He became in the Egyptian capital one of the most important figures in different fields of knowledge. His gazal is notable for its originality in the treatment of themes not usually so handled in this genre as are the poems dedicated to masculine figures with some physical failing. He is also the author of two muwašahat dedicated to individual gilman.en_US
