Actuación arqueológica de urgencia en el pago de Los Tejoletes. Madinat Ilbira (Atarfe, Granada)

Abstract

Informe de los resultados de la intervención arqueológica en el Pago de los Tejoletes, en el yacimiento de Madinat Ilbira, incluyendo el estudio de la cerámica.

The paper presented is the result of an archaelogical excavation carried out in the site of Medina Elvira (Atarfe, Granada). The objective was to evaluate the damage caused by the construction of a trench for the irrigation system. The result has been quite intersting from de historical point of view because it demonstrate the intensive occupation of the flat area in the Xth century, considerecd as the medina of the city. In the same way, it has been possible to prove the existence of previous phases, which evaluation it will be necesary to carry out in the future.
