Abstract

La construcción social de la creación cinematográfica abarca, entre otros, el concepto de ficción. Más allá del cine, el ser humano es un animal mimético por naturaleza, de modo que la ficción ha existido siempre en forma de imitaciones por vías diversas. Pero la ficción supera la mera recreación de la realidad y en su interior caben la ilusión, la fantasía o la locura. Y es que construir ficciones implica un acto simultáneo de creación y de imitación. La ficción es la realidad del cine, de modo que éste es tan real como irreal, al ser la ficción algo intangible. La construcción social de la ficción por parte de los cineastas españoles hace de ella una descripción verdadera del mundo, una vía para poder reconocer, comprender y vivir la realidad sin la responsabilidad que implica hacerlo de manera directa.

The social construction of the cinematographic creation includes the notion of fiction, among others. Beyond the cinema, the human being is a mimetic animal by nature, so that fiction has always existed, and the different kinds of imitations are a good example of this. However, fiction is more than the simple recreation of the reality and dreams, as it also encompasses fantasy and madness. Building fictions is a simultaneous act of creation and imitation. The fiction is the reality of the cinema, and that is as real as unreal because fiction is intangible. According to the social construction of the fiction made by Spanish filmmakers, fiction is a real description of the world, a way to recognize, understand, and live life without the responsibility of doing everything in person.
