La vida del pensar como acción pública creadora y como salud existencial —Reflexiones sobre el sentido del pensamiento en H. Arendt—

Abstract

El trabajo pretende aclarar y comentar qué significa «pensar» en la obra de H. Arendt. En una primera parte, y atendiendo sobre todo a La vida del espíritu, se analiza la unidad entre pensamiento y acción en la praxis publica. En la segunda parte se indaga el lazo entre el mal y la ausencia de pensamiento. A lo largo de este trayecto, el autor interpreta el pensar activo como equivalente de la salud existencial y comprende su ausencia como clave de una existencia enfermiza a nivel social y colectivo.

This paper aims to clarify and discuss what "to think" means in the work of H. Arendt. In the first part, given The Life of the Mind, we analyze the unity between thinking and action in the public praxis. In the second part we inquire into the bond between evil and the absence of thought. Along this path, the author equates active thinking to existential health and interprets its absence as the key to a sickly existence in a social context.
