Revelando nuevos vínculos familiares de la dinastía Nazarí en el siglo XIII: Amat al-'Aziz y los Banu Hundayr de Crevillente

Abstract

El presente artículo revela la existencia de una princesa, hasta ahora desconocida, de la dinastía nazarí llamada Amat al-‘Aziz, así como descubre los lazos tanto políticos como de parentesco que los Banu Nasr establecieron con un importante linaje de arráeces, los Banu Hudayr de Crevillente, en el siglo XIII. Ambos aspectos son desvelados en un acta matrimonial redactada por el secretario de la cancillería granadina Ibn Jattab al-Mursi, cuyo profundo análisis será ofrecido a lo largo de este trabajo.

The in-depth analysis of a marriage official license composed by the secretary of the Grenadine chancery, Ibn Jattab al-Mursi, uncovers both the existence of an unknown princess of the Nasrid dynasty, called Amat al-‘Aziz, and the family as well as the political links that the Banu Nasr established in the 13th century with an important lineage of military chiefs from Crevillente, known as the Banu Hudayr.
