Siguiendo los pasos de los malandros. Para una discusión sobre delincuencia y migraciones

Abstract

El presente ensayo pretende iniciar el acercamiento a un tema poco tratado: la movilidad geográfica de los pequeños delincuentes o malandros urbanos. La mayor parte de este trabajo desarrolla esta temática partiendo del análisis de los materiales recogidos en campo mediante entrevistas abiertas y observación participante. Los sujetos considerados, tres hombres de nacionalidad mexicana, se movían (y lo hacen actualmente) en y entre dos Estados nacionales: México y Estados Unidos. Cada uno de ellos dibuja un mapa particular de la topografía del malandraje inscrito y legible en sus biografías particulares. Sin otro vínculo, todos pasaron en algún momento de su vida por Ciudad Juárez. Pero además, el objeto del ensayo es llamar la atención sobre la necesidad de elaborar esquemas metodológicos y ontológicos sobre los fenómenos migratorios, cuyo cuerpo teórico es aun limitado y en construcción.

The present paper provides an initial approach to a little-treated subject: the geographic mobility of the petty delinquents or urban thugs. Most of this work develops this theme by dividing of the analysis of the materials raised in field by means of open interviews and participant observation. The subjects considered, three men of Mexican nationality, moved (and they do at the moment) in and between two national states: Mexico and the United States. Each of them draws a particular map of the topography of delinquency in their personal biographies. Without another bond, all some time of their life passed through Juárez City. But also the object of the test is to call attention to the necessity of formulating methodological and ontological approaches to migratory phenomena, whose theoretical corpus is still limited and under construction.
