Análisis de las percepciones del profesorado de Educación Secundaria sobre los procesos de atención a la diversidad: Su incidencia en la formación

Abstract

Este artículo describe una investigación, de carácter cuantitativo, que se llevó a cabo en la provincia de Jaén durante los años 2001-2004 con la finalidad de detectar qué tipo de necesidades formativas tienen los profesores de Educación Secundaria, así como analizar las percepciones, creencias y actitudes de este colectivo con respecto a la atención a la diversidad. En este trabajo vamos a centrarnos sólo en una parte de la investigación, que consiste básicamente en averiguar, mediante una tabla de contingencia, si existe asociación entre la forma de acceso que han tenido los profesores de Educación Secundaria y determinados aspectos de la diversidad, que coinciden con algunos ítems del instrumento de recogida de datos.

This article describes an investigation type quantitative (questionnaire) that was carried out in the province of Jaén during the period 2001-2004. The purpose was to detect what types of formative needs the teachers of Secondary Education has, as well as to analyze the perceptions, beliefs and attitudes of this group with respect to the attention to the diversity. In this work we show only a part of the investigation, that consists basically to find out, by a contingency table, associations between the way of access of the teachers of Secondary Education and various aspects of the diversity, according with certain items of the instrument of data collection.
