Antropología y turismo rural. Una contingencia necesaria

Abstract

Este artículo quiere invitar a la reflexión abogando por un replanteamiento en la dirección de los estudios etnológicos sobre Andalucía. Se presentan algunos fundamentos y estrategias para un estudio del fenómeno del turismo en Andalucía como legítimo campo de estudio socioantropológico y, más concretamente, del turismo rural; así como la necesidad de un asesoramiento profesional por parte de los antropólogos a las administraciones e instituciones inmersas en el proceso turístico.

This article invites the rethinking of ethnological studies on Andalusia. We present some fundamentals and strategies for the study of the phenomenon of tourism in Andalusia as a legitimate field of study for socioanthropology and, more concretely, of rural tourism. We also discuss the need for a professional assessment, by anthropologists, of the administrations and institutions immersed in the tourist process.
