Cultura, subsidio agrario y reestructuración simbólica. Estudio de un caso

Abstract

Analizar el fenómeno del subsidio agrario implica necesariamente ir más allá de la visión que lo considera como algo que es manifestación exclusivamente de lo político. Para su verdadera comprensión es necesario introducir el sistema de subsidio agrario en la matriz cultural en la que toma existencia. Para ello es necesario analizar la interrelación que dicho sistema tiene con el resto de las esferas que configuran lo social, que en nuestro caso van a ser los hábitos de alimentación y los rituales funerarios. Y es dicha interrelación la que determina los cambios y la que configura los caracteres de lo social. Para este tipo de estudio reclamamos una concepción operativa de la cultura, que implica una interacción precisa con la estructura social y las acciones de los individuos.

In this analisis of the phenomenon of the agrarian subsidy it is necessary to go beyond the vision that considers it to be an exclusively political manifestation. For true understanding it is necessary to situate the system of agrarian subsidy inside of the cultural matrix in which it exists. The analisis of the interrelations between the system and the rest of the spheres configuring social reality is required, here the feeding habits and the funeral rites. And it is in this interrelation that changes are determined and characters of social reality are configured. For this type of study we claim an operative conception of the culture, which implies a precise interaction between the social structure and the actions of the individual.
