Deporte y construcción de las relaciones de género

Abstract

Bajo la denominación «mundo del deporte» encontramos un sistema abierto y cambiante que puede ser analizado en sus múltiples aspectos. Su conocimiento se presenta clave para entender la complejidad de la sociedad actual. Desde la antropología de la antropología feminista, este artículo destaca la importancia que, en la socialización de la infancia y la juventud, tiene la existencia de una potente organización institucional de fútbol guipuzcoano. Se define esta estructura como un espacio de iniciación masculina, ligado a valores positivos relacionados con lo público, la actividad, el éxito y el dominio social.

Under the denomination of the «world of sports», we find an open and changing system which can be analyzed in multiple aspects. Its knowledge is presented as a key to the understanding of the complexity of modern society. From the perspective of the anthropology of feminist anthropology, this article highlights the importance that the existence of a potent institutional football organization in Guipuzcoa has for the socialization of childhood and of youth. This structure is defined as a masculine initiation space, bound to positive values related with public life, activity, success and social domination.
