Rehabilitación y Adecuación de la Plaza de la Constitución en Aldeaquemada, Jaén. 2006-2007

Abstract

Reivindicar la hermosa y longeva idea de LONJA, un espacio intenso pero recatado, capaz de tensar y hacer converger en ella las distintas geometrías y correspondencias formales y eurítmicas. Se diseña un nuevo SUELO ILUSTRADO de piedra del lugar integrado en un mecanismo geométrico que permite vincular los distintos desniveles y cotas que, de cualquier otra manera tomarían un protagonismo innecesario ante las medidas del recinto.

The aim of this project is to reclaim the beautiful and long-standing idea of the LONJA: an intense yet restrained space, capable of bringing into tension and convergence the various geometries and formal and eurythmic correspondences. A new ILLUSTRATED STONE PAVEMENT is designed, using local stone and integrated into a geometric framework that allows the different level changes and elevations to be articulated—elements that would otherwise assume unnecessary prominence given the scale of the enclosure.
