Historia de una pregunta: consideraciones teórico-metodológicas en torno al género y al parentesco en la migración transnacional colombiana

Abstract

El objetivo del presente artículo consiste en mostrar las reflexiones que acompañan la construcción de una pregunta de investigación para una tesis doctoral desde la antropología feminista. En concreto, el interés radica en visibilizar cómo el diálogo entre la teoría y la etnografía multisituada sobre la organización social de los cuidados transnacionales en la migración entre España y Colombia impacta y transforma la pregunta de investigación. Como resultado de esta conversación entre teoría antropológica y práctica etnográfica se muestra, por un lado, que los cambios que sufre una pregunta son inherentes a una investigación etnográfica, longitudinal y enmarcada en un escenario de movilidad transnacional, y por otro lado, que la producción científica sobre migraciones todavía tiene muchos retos pendientes por asumir.

The aim of this paper is to show the reflections that accompany the construction of a research question from the perspective of feminist anthropology. Specifically, our interest lies in shedding light on how the dialogue between theory and the multi-sited ethnography about the social organization of transnational care in migration between Spain and Colombia affects and transforms the research question. As a result of this conversation between theory and practice we show, on the one hand, that the changes undergone by a question are inherent to a longitudinal ethnographic investigation, framed in a scenario of transnational mobility, and on the other hand, that the scientific production on migration still has to face many pending challenges.
