Hábitat colaborativo e industria: una aportación necesaria al Plan Estratégico para la transformación de la Azucarera de San Isidro de Granada.

Abstract

Máquina de habitar: el más simbólico de los aforismos ligado a la modernidad vincula vivienda e industria desde la inmediatez de la relación forma-función a través de la expresión de una nueva arquitectura. A partir del estudio de relevantes ejemplos de relación entre vivienda e industria a lo largo del siglo XX se han analizado modos residenciales alternativos donde tengan cabida nuevas formas de vivir, relacionarse y trabajar que sirvan de base para gestionar la transformación futura de la Azucarera de San Isidro por parte de la Universidad de Granada desde la inseparable relación entre barrio, vivienda y fábrica.

Machine of inhabiting: the most symbolic of aphorisms linked to modernity, binds housing and industry from the immediacy of the form-function relationship through the expression of a new architecture. Based on the analysis of relevant examples of the relationship between housing and industry throughout the 20th century, alternative residential modes have been studied in which new ways of living, relating and working have a place, which serve as a basis for managing the future transformation of the San Isidro Sugar Factory by the University of Granada from the inseparable relationship between neighbourhood, housing and factory.
