Abstract

El 3er Seminario Internacional de Investigación Gráfica aplicada a la Arquitectura e Ingeniería mantiene el propósito de los anteriores: exponer nuestros resultados de investigación en un seminario que reúna a los profesores/as e investigadores/as del Departamento de Expresión Gráfica Arquitectónica y en la Ingeniería (EGAI) de la Universidad de Granada. Celebrados los dos anteriores hace 2 y 4 años, ha llegado el momento, conforme a esta tradición, de convocar el 3er Seminario de Investigación, con el mismo ánimo y voluntad. La investigación y la transferencia de conocimiento son parte ineludible del quehacer académico que compartimos los profesores e investigadores del Departamento EGAI. Formamos parte de uno de los departamentos más grandes de la UGR, con 70 profesores e investigadores (septiembre 2025). Un Departamento que se caracteriza por aunar distintas áreas de conocimiento, pero próximas en sus objetivos de investigación. Estas son: Expresión Gráfica Arquitectónica; Expresión Gráfica en la Ingeniería; Ingeniería Cartográfica, Geodésica y Fotogrametría; y Proyectos Arquitectónicos. Es esta confluencia de intereses en la investigación la que nos mueve a buscar y fomentar puntos de encuentro, convergencias y posibles colaboraciones de carácter interdisciplinar. El 3er Seminario se convoca con el objetivo de promover el encuentro entre profesores e investigadores del departamento EGAI que mantienen un compromiso con la investigación. A todos ellos, les solicitamos que participen y expongan sus resultados. Se plantea por tanto como un encuentro para escuchar las múltiples y diferentes líneas y perfiles de investigación. Esto facilitará, en definitiva, conocer la situación actual de la investigación de nuestro Departamento y, al mismo tiempo, establecer alianzas que acrecienten el interés de cada investigación para mirar al futuro en la búsqueda de nuevos retos. El Seminario, por estos motivos, se ofrece abierto a todo el profesorado e investigadores del Departamento EGAI y también a los Grupos y Proyectos de investigación en los que participen, directa o indirectamente, sus profesores y profesoras.

The 3rd International Seminar on Graphic Research Applied to Architecture and Engineering maintains the purpose of the previous editions: to present our research results in a seminar that brings together the professors and researchers of the Department of Architectural Graphic Expression and Engineering (EGAI) at the University of Granada. With the two previous seminars held 2 and 4 years ago, the time has come, following this tradition, to convene the 3rd Research Seminar, with the same spirit and intent. Research and knowledge transfer are an essential part of the academic work shared by the faculty and researchers of the EGAI Department. We are part of one of the largest departments at the University of Granada, with 70 professors and researchers (September 2025). This Department is characterized by bringing together different areas of knowledge that nonetheless share closely aligned research goals. These areas are: Architectural Graphic Expression; Graphic Expression in Engineering; Cartographic, Geodetic and Photogrammetric Engineering; and Architectural Design. It is this convergence of research interests that encourages us to seek and promote meeting points, synergies and potential interdisciplinary collaborations. The 3rd Seminar is convened with the aim of fostering encounters among the faculty and researchers of the EGAI Department who maintain a strong commitment to research. We invite all of them to participate and present their results. It is therefore conceived as an opportunity to listen to the multiple and diverse research lines and profiles. This will ultimately help us to understand the current state of research within our Department and, at the same time, to establish alliances that enhance the scope of each research line, looking towards the future in pursuit of new challenges. For these reasons, the Seminar is open to all faculty and researchers of the EGAI Department, as well as to the Research Groups and Projects in which they participate, directly or indirectly.
