Abstract

Wallace Neff fue el arquitecto que más viviendas airform construyó en el mundo. Registró su primera patente en 1941 y desde entonces inició un proceso en el que continuó legalizando los sistemas constructivos que había inventado en otros países. Después de haber realizado una exhaustiva búsqueda de los registros de las patentes de W. Neff en varios archivos, de haber efectuado un completo de trabajo de campo y de haber revisado la literatura se pretende con este estudio analizar qué patentes registró W. Neff en la península ibérica, si se ejecutaron y cómo, y si se conservan en la actualidad.

Wallace Neff was the most prolific architect in the construction of airform homes worldwide. He registered his first patent in 1941, subsequently initiating a process of legalizing the construction systems he invented in other countries. Following an extensive search of W. Neff’s patent records across various archives, comprehensive fieldwork, and literature review, this study aims to analyze which patents W. Neff registered in the Iberian Peninsula, whether they were realized and how, and if they are still preserved today.
