Abstract

El libro reflexiona sobre la exposición de Zsolt Bátori "Huerta y ciudad" donde presenta una selección de las tres series de fotografías que realizó en 2018 sobre la relación entre dos partes características de la ciudad de Murcia y sus alrededores. El resultado es un volumen que conjuga el pensamiento estético y la crítica de la fotografía con el telón de fondo de la realidad de un entorno rural y urbano en tensión, que la conjunción del trabajo visual y teórico busca poner de manifiesto en toda su significación social, cultural y humana.

The reflects on the exhibition "The orchard and the city" by Zsolt Bátori , where he offers a selection of three series of photographs taken in 2018 addressing the relationship between two characteristic parts of the city of Murcia (Spain) and its vicinity. As a result, the volume combines aesthetic thought and criticism of photography backed by the reality of the tension between a rural and an urban environment, which the union of visual and theoretical work tries to illuminate in all its social, cultural, and human significance.
