Arengas de ŷihād en época almohade

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es el estudio de las arengas almohades pronunciadas en un contexto de guerra santa. Se analizarán estos discursos no solo desde la óptica de su funcionalidad militar, sino también desde las perspectivas de la ritualización del ŷihād puesta en marcha por el movimiento unitario, la legitimación del poder mu’miní a través de la conducción de la guerra santa, y la transmisión que el califato bereber realizó de las ideas dominantes de su discurso de ŷihād.

The aim of this paper is the study of the Almohad harangues delivered in a context of Holy War. These speeches will be analyzed not only from the point of view of their military functionality, but also from the perspectives of the ritualization of jihād launched by the unitary movement, the legitimation of the Mu’minid power through the leading of Holy War, and the transmission of the main ideas of the discourse of jihād that the Berber caliphate carried out.
