El mínimo paremiológico portugués: el portugués europeo

Abstract

Este libro recoge las paremias más usadas actualmente en el portugués europeo, es decir, aquellas que forman parte de la competencia paremiológica pasiva y activa de la gran mayoría de los hablantes nativos de Portugal continental e insular. Para ello se ha llevado a cabo una investigación dividida en tres fases en las que se han aplicado diferentes encuestas y análisis documentales. Tras definir el objeto de estudio, las investigaciones previas y el marco teórico y metodológico de este trabajo, se presenta en dos series el corpus de paremias obtenido. Una serie con las paremias organizadas por orden alfabético y distribuidas en fichas descriptivas que registran información léxico-semántica y pragmática-comunicativa de cada paremia, así como su correspondencia en español, y otra serie con las paremias clasificadas en tres grupos de mayor a menor frecuencia de uso. Finalmente, presentamos, por un lado, un análisis global de las características formales, semánticas y pragmáticas de las paremias que constituyen el mínimo paremiológico del portugués europeo y, por otro, un estudio contrastivo y comparado de las paremias respecto al español.

This book brings together the paremias that are the most commonly used in European Portuguese today, i.e., those that fall within the passive and active paremiological competence of the vast majority of native speakers in continental Portugal and its islands. The research involved has been divided into three parts, applying different surveys and document studies. After setting out the objective of the study, the preliminary research and the theoretical and methodological framework of this work, the corpus of paremias obtained is presented in two sets: one with the paremias arranged in alphabetical order and resented in descriptive data sheets that include lexical-semantic and pragmatic-communicative information on each of the paremias, as well as their Spanish equivalents; and the other set classifying the paremias into three groups according to their frequency of use, from the most to the least used. Finally, we present an overall analysis of the formal, semantic and pragmatic characteristics of the paremias that make up the paremiological minimum of European Portuguese, followed by a contrastive and comparative stuy of paremias with regard to Spanish.
