La Plataforma de Vico: origen histórico y análisis urbanístico

Abstract

A partir de la denominada Plataforma de Vico se analiza la cartografía histórica de Granada desde la conquista hasta el siglo XVII, evaluando la evolución de la ciudad y la visión que a principios del siglo XVII se tiene de la misma. Además, el realismo de esta imagen permite acercarnos a la historia arquitectónica y urbana de Granada a lo largo del siglo XVI.

Based on the so-called Vico Platform, the historical cartography of Granada is analyzed from the conquest to the 17th century, assessing the city's evolution and the view held of it at the beginning of the 17th century. Furthermore, the realism of this image allows us to gain insight into the architectural and urban history of Granada throughout the 16th century.
