dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a precise and straightforward solution for simulating the behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) beam-column elements subjected to bending and shearing forces. The solution is compatible with the fiber element formulation used within object-oriented software frameworks like OpenSees. The solution applies to both elastic and plastic deformation domains. In order to validate the effectiveness of the beam-column element proposed, a benchmark test available in the literature has been employed.es_ES
