Introducción a la historia de las teorías literarias

Abstract

Este libro es una síntesis histórica, a la vez que una revisión crítica, de las distintas propuestas de teoría literaria, desde la Antigüedad hasta el siglo XX. En la primera parte del libro se lleva a cabo un recorrido histórico que incluye la Antigüedad, la Edad Media, el Humanismo y los siglos XVIII y XIX. La segunda parte se centra en el siglo XX, con cuatro capítulos cuyos títulos son: "Literatura y lengua: teorías lingüísticas y semiológicas", "Literatura y sociedad: teorías históricas y sociológicas", "Literatura e inconsciente: teorías psicoanalíticas" y "Literatura y lector: Teorías fenomenológicas, hermenéuticas y deconstructivas".

This book is a historical synthesis, as well as a critical review, of the various proposals of literary theory, from Antiquity to the 20th century. The first part of the book offers a historical overview that includes Antiquity, the Middle Ages, Humanism, and the 18th and 19th centuries. The second part focuses on the 20th century, with four chapters entitled: "Literature and Language: Linguistic and Semiological Theories," "Literature and Society: Historical and Sociological Theories," "Literature and the Unconscious: Psychoanalytic Theories," and "Literature and the Reader: Phenomenological, Hermeneutic, and Deconstructive Theories."
