Ecologías productivas: hibridaciones entre lo rural y lo urbano a través de tres exposiciones recientes

Abstract

El cambio que se está produciendo en el planeta nos empuja a revisar las complejas relaciones entre el medio ambiente y los seres humanos. El crecimiento de las grandes metrópolis y la despoblación de las zonas rurales han causado el abandono de las actividades productivas tradicionales. Se indagan dichas posturas mediante el análisis y comparación de tres exposiciones que, desde un enfoque específicamente arquitectónico, abordan el problema de la producción agrosilvopastoril en las grandes metrópolis: Capital agricole. Chantiers pour une ville cultivée (París, 2018-2019); Countryside: The Future (Nueva York, 2020); La Ciudad del Futuro: de la Huerta a la Mesa (Madrid, 2021-2022). El estudio de las posturas teóricas y planteamiento museístico de estas tres exposiciones ofrece nuevas luces sobre la inclusión de los espacios productivos en las zonas urbanas. Una nueva relación entre las ciudades y sus regiones.

The changes taking place on the planet are forcing us to review the complex relationships between the environment and human beings. The growth of large metropolises and the depopulation of rural areas have caused the abandonment of traditional productive activities.
