Educación intercultural: desde el desarrollo de competencias del profesorado hasta las trayectorias vitales del estudiantado internacional

Abstract

La situación de crisis sanitaria mundial, donde las instituciones y sistemas educativos se han visto alterados por las diferentes políticas restrictivas para controlar la propagación del virus, debe complementarse con la riqueza de las producciones científicas realizadas hasta el momento. Es por ello que, en este número, la RASE continúa ofreciendo un espacio para la reflexión sobre temas de interés para la sociología de la educación, como son la formación, las desigualdades y sus efectos en el ámbito socioeducativo. En concreto, la educación intercultural se ha seleccionado como eje verte-brador de este número misceláneo debido a la pluralidad de orígenes geográficos y temáticas abordadas. Este número reúne los trabajos realizados por once personas, seis autoras y cinco autores, y se estruc-tura en cinco artículos y dos reseñas de libros. A través de dichas contribuciones se pueden recorrer las experiencias educativas por distintas coordenadas geográficas: España, Escocia, Chile y Argentina.

The situation of the global health crisis, where educational institutions and systems have been altered by different restrictive policies to control the spread of the virus, must be complemented by the wealth of scientific productions carried out so far. This is why, in this issue, RASE continues to offer a space for reflection on topics of interest to the sociology of education, such as training, inequalities and their effects on the socio-educational sphere. Specifically, intercultural education has been selected as the backbone of this miscellaneous issue, due to the plurality of geographical origins and topics addressed, which brings together the work of eleven people, six male and five female authors, and is structured into five articles and two book reviews. Through these contributions, the educational experiences can be traced through different geographical coordinates: Spain, Scotland, Chile and Argentina.
