Por la senda de la micromovilización. Los comunistas y la movilización antifranquista y prodemocrática del mundo rural. El caso de Granada (1958-1965)

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende ser una aportación a la nueva historiografía sobre la protesta social contra el franquismo. Con el mismo, se persigue el desentrañamiento del papel jugado por la sociedad rural en la emergencia de redes de sociabilidad propiciatorias de actitudes democráticas crecientemente opuestas al régimen dictatorial. Siguiendo la estela de algunos recientes trabajos, a lo largo del presente estudio se analiza la labor desempeñada por el Partido Comunista de España y las Comisiones Obreras Agrícolas y Campesinas en la reconstrucción de los lenguajes y las culturas políticas interpretativas de la realidad agraria bajo el franquismo. Los comunistas desempeñaron un papel crucial en el proceso histórico de gestación de identidades colectivas entre la población rural, contribuyendo a la sedimentación de actitudes y comportamientos cívicos pro-democráticos opuestos a la dictadura.

This paper aims to be a contribution to the new historiography on social protest against Francoism. With it, is pursued the unraveling of the role played by the rural society in the emergence of sociability networks that foster democratic attitudes increasingly opposed to the dictatorial regime. Following in the footsteps of some recent works, throughout this study we analyze the work carried out by the Spanish Communist Party and the Agricultural and Peasant Workers Commissions in the reconstruction of the interpretative languages and political cultures of the agrarian reality under Francoism. The communists played a crucial role in the historical process of gestation of collective identities among the rural population, contributing to the sedimentation of pro-democratic civic attitudes and behaviors opposed to the dictatorship.This paper aims to be a contribution to the new historiography on social protest against Francoism.
