Abstract

Este cuaderno docente, primero de una serie de seis dedicados a la asignatura Ideación Gráfica e Introducción al Proyecto Arquitectónico (IGA), marca el inicio de una línea metodológica innovadora en la enseñanza gráfica en arquitectura. Su publicación establece una estructura pedagógica basada en la integración de las áreas de Expresión Gráfica y Proyectos Arquitectónicos, dentro de un taller experimental compartido. Este volumen inaugura una estrategia docente que, desde su origen, ha apostado por adaptar anualmente los contenidos a las particularidades del curso, ofreciendo al estudiante un material didáctico actualizado, específico y contextualizado. A través del estudio de edificios del patrimonio universitario - durante este curso la sede de la Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Granada - se introduce al alumno en las complejas relaciones entre paisaje, arquitectura y memoria, fomentando una comprensión profunda desde las etapas iniciales de la formación. Su formato A3 y enfoque gráfico lo convierten en una herramienta activa de trabajo: un soporte abierto donde el estudiante puede registrar, dibujar, reflexionar y experimentar. Además de facilitar el aprendizaje progresivo, este cuaderno funciona como medio de comunicación entre profesor y alumno, y como aporte bibliográfico que enriquece el conocimiento de los edificios analizados. Constituye así un referente docente, versátil y replicable, en el ámbito de la enseñanza de la arquitectura.

This teaching notebook, the first in a series of six dedicated to the subject Graphic Ideation and Introduction to Architectural Design (IGA), marks the beginning of an innovative methodological approach to graphic instruction in architecture. Its publication establishes a pedagogical structure based on the integration of the areas of Graphic Expression and Architectural Design within a shared experimental workshop. This volume inaugurates a teaching strategy that, from its inception, has aimed to adapt the content annually to the particularities of each academic year, offering students updated, specific, and contextualized educational material. Through the study of buildings from the university's architectural heritage—this year focusing on the building of the School of Architecture of the University of Granada—students are introduced to the complex relationships between landscape, architecture, and memory, promoting a deep understanding from the earliest stages of their education. Its A3 format and graphic-centered approach make it an active working tool: an open medium where students can record, draw, reflect, and experiment. In addition to facilitating progressive learning, this notebook serves as a means of communication between teacher and student, and as a bibliographic resource that enriches the understanding of the buildings studied. It thus becomes a versatile and replicable teaching reference in the field of architectural education.
