Las seducciones del relato de investigación

Abstract

Desde el comienzo del siglo XXI, el “relato de investigación” tiene un éxito creciente ante el público especializado y no especializado. Si corresponde hoy a una vasta producción artística internacional, ficcional y no ficcional, en este modo narrativo se inscriben en Occidente diferentes tradiciones, presentes en las obras de autores globalizados. En este artículo consideramos la tradición latinoamericana del “relato de investigación”, y sus especificidades, con el objetivo de poner en evidencia su alcance ideológico, para proponer una clasificación que permite distinguir dos tradiciones distintas. Se propone una categorización del relato de investigación a partir de ejemplos relevantes de la literatura mundial.

Since the beginning of the 21st century, the “inquiry narrative” has been increasingly successful with specialized and non-specialized audiences. If it corresponds today to a vast international artistic production, both fictional and non-fictional, different traditions, present in the works of globalized authors, are embedded in this narrative mode in the West. In this article we consider the Latin American tradition of the “inquiry narrative”, and its specificities, with the aim of highlighting its ideological scope, in order to propose a classification. We propose a categorization of inquiry narratives based on examples from world literature.
