Tres poetas “escondidas” en el oasis porteño de Juan Ramón Jiménez

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es revisar las figuras y obras de tres escritoras que fueron seleccionadas por Juan Ramón Jiménez en el proyecto de “Poesía escondida”, la antología de poemas de autores/as de Argentina y Uruguay que ideó en su viaje a estos países, en 1948, y que nunca fue publicada. Nos centraremos en la influencia de la poética del bardo español en las composiciones de Helena Muñoz Larreta, Mabel Fernández Chalá y Sara Reboul, pasando revista al con-texto de la poesía argentina de los 40 y trazando breves esbozos de las trayectorias ulteriores que las tres desarrollaron.

The aim of this paper is to recover the figures and works of three women writers who were selected by Juan Ramón Jiménez in the “Hidden Poetry” project, the anthology of poems by authors from Argentina and Uruguay that he devised on his trip to these countries, in 1948, and which was never published. We will focus on the influence of the poetics of the Spanish bard on the compo-sitions of Helena Muñoz Larreta, Mabel Fernández Chalá and Sara Reboul, reviewing the context of Argentine poetry of the 1940s and drawing brief sketches of the subsequent trajectories that the three developed.
