Genericidad y cognición: los límites de la crítica de ciencia ficción argentina

Abstract

El siguiente trabajo se abocará a la reconstrucción de ciertos lugares comunes de la crítica literaria acerca de la ciencia ficción argentina de las últimas décadas. Estos son, en concreto, el agotamiento de la pulsión cognoscitiva y, como desprendimiento de este último, la crisis de la genericidad. Estas dos hipótesis convertidas, por efecto del hábito crítico, en una suerte de teoría de la ciencia ficción latinoamericana, merecen ser confrontadas con el estado de la literatura anticipatoria escrita en Argentina actualmente. Proponemos, para esto, un estudio de índole meta-crítico, que organice las lecturas más destacadas en torno a la problemática genérica con miras a establecer una controversia.

The following work will focus on the reconstruction of certain commonplaces of literary criticism about Argentinian science fiction in recent years. Specifically, the exhaustion of the cognitive impulse and, because of this crisis of genericity. These two hypotheses, that are turned into a kind of theory of Latin American science fiction because of the effect of a critical habit, deserve to be confronted with the state of anticipatory literature written in Argentina nowadays. For this purpose, we propose a meta-critical study that organizes the most outstanding readings about the generic problem with the purpose of establishing a controversy.
