Abstract

‘Después de los Encuentros’, es una publicación que recoge los textos y las obras de la generación de artistas posterior a los Encuentros de Pamplona de 1972 que eclosionó a partir de ellos y que supuso la primera generación de autores que inició su trayectoria artística en democracia. La publicación recoge la obra realizada entre los años 90 del siglo XX y la primera década del siglo XXI por 18 artistas nacidos entre 1956 y 1968 y que están en activo: Félix Ortega, Javier Balda, Fernando Iriarte, Patxi Ezquieta, Jokin Manzanos, Asun Goikoetxea, Paco Polán, Dora Salazar, Txuspo Poyo, Dick Recalde, Pedro Osákar, Txaro Fontalba, Santiago García, Jorge Martínez Huarte, Alfonso Ascunce, José Miguel Corral, Elena Goñi, Javier Muro. Este libro-catálogo se publicó con motivo de la muestra ‘Después de los Encuentros’ una exposición colectiva sobre la influencia que tuvo los Encuentros de Pamplona de 1972 en la trayectoria de toda una generación de artistas celebrada en la Ciudadela de Pamplona entre el 30 de septiembre al 8 de enero de 2022.

'After the Meetings' is a publication that collects the texts and works of the generation of artists after the Pamplona Meetings of 1972 that emerged from them and that represented the first generation of authors who began their artistic career in democracy. The publication includes the work carried out between the 90s of the 20th century and the first decade of the 21st century by 18 artists born between 1956 and 1968 and who are active: Félix Ortega, Javier Balda, Fernando Iriarte, Patxi Ezquieta, Jokin Manzanos, Asun Goikoetxea, Paco Polán, Dora Salazar, Txuspo Poyo, Dick Recalde, Pedro Osákar, Txaro Fontalba, Santiago García, Jorge Martínez Huarte, Alfonso Ascunce, José Miguel Corral, Elena Goñi, Javier Muro. This book-catalogue was published on the occasion of the exhibition 'After the Encounters', a collective exhibition on the influence that the Pamplona Encounters of 1972 had on the career of an entire generation of artists held in the Citadel of Pamplona between September 30 and January 8, 2022.
