Abstract

Roma es una ciudad cargada de historia como lo pone de manifiesto a cada paso que se da por sus calles la cantidad, calidad y variedad de sus monumentos y museos, en la que miles de objetos y elementos de todo tipo y época nos hablan sobre su rico e impresionante pasado, plagado de hechos y acontecimientos históricos. En sus múltiples museos encontramos pinturas y esculturas a través de las que el ser humano ha plasmado sus sentimientos y su forma de ver y sentir la vida. Objetos y mobiliario de la vida cotidiana que nos hablan sobre personas anónimas que lucharon por encontrar un lugar en el mundo en el que poder desenvolverse mejor adaptándose a las características del entorno y modificándolo para hacerlo más habitable. Ambiciones que les llevaron a crear uno de los mayores imperios que han existido, y que dejaron su impronta en la historia de la humanidad cuyo influjo ha llegado hasta nuestros días.
