El tópico del “sobrepujamiento” en la Austriaca sive Naumachia de Francisco de Pedrosa

Abstract

En este trabajo analizamos el uso del tópico literario que Curtius acuñó como Überbietung en el poco conocido poema épico Austriaca siue Naumachia de Francisco de Pedrosa. Nos detenemos en su caracterización lingüística y en su importancia como parte esencial del componente panegírico del poema.// In this paper, we analyze the employment of the literary topic called Überbietung by Curtius in a relatively unknown epic poem: the Austriaca siue Naumachia by Francisco de Pedrosa. Here we provide details about its linguistic features as well as its significance as an essential part of the panegyric component of the poem.
