Sull'arredo urbano e il verde in contesti storico-monumentali

Abstract

Hablar hoy de mobiliario urbano es cada vez más frecuente y está cada vez más presente en el vocabulario del ciudadano común. Los elementos que lo conforman, de existencia aparentemente reciente, se han utilizado sin embargo, desde tiempos muy antiguos y han formado siempre parte orgánica de la ciudad. Actualmente el desafío de dotar a las ciudades de elementos que aportan confort se extiende también a la conservación de la ciudad histórica, en la que la adecuación y la instalación de mobiliario urbano representa un desafío entre actualización y conservación y en la percepción de la imagen y el paisaje urbano de los contextos históricos.

Today, urban furniture is becoming more and more common and is increasingly present in the vocabulary of the average citizen. The elements that make it up, which are apparently of recent existence, have nevertheless been used since ancient times and have always been an organic part of the city. Currently, the challenge of providing cities with elements that provide comfort also extends to the conservation of the historic city, in which the adaptation and installation of urban furniture represents a challenge between updating and conservation and in the perception of the image and urban landscape of historic contexts.
