La mayor parte de sus contenidos no son, sin embargo, originales, sino secciones de la traducción hebrea de dos de los tres tratados que formaron parte del famoso compendio latino medieval conocido como Trotula: el Liber de sinthomatibus mulierum y el De ornatu mulierum. Este artículo incluye la narración del proceso de identificación del tratado, junto con un estudio preliminar sobre las circunstancias de su producción y sobre sus contenidos. Ofrece también su edición y traducción al castellano.; The Še’ar yašub is a short treatise, written in the second half of the thirteenth century, devoted to the care of women’s health and beauty. However, most of its contents are not original, but portions from the Hebrew translation of two of the three treatises that made up the famous medieval Latin compilation known as Trotula: the Liber de sinthomatibus mulierum y the De ornatu mulierum. This article narrates the process of identification, and includes a preliminary study of both the circumstances of its production and its contents. It also offers the edition and Spanish translation. Lamento por la muerte de una madre Prats Oliván, Arturo Este artículo saca a la luz una elegía en prosa escrita por Bonafed en honor de Blanca, la madre de un personaje anónimo, y un breve texto anejo en que el autor se lamenta por la muerte de su propia madre. En el estudio literario preliminar se sitúa la elegía de Bonafed dentro de su contexto literario y se compara con la tradición hispanohebrea anterior, señalando lo que la diferencia de la creación elegiaca clásica.; This article is an approach to the elegiac genre in Bonafed´s diwan. It explores the differences between his texts and the Hebrew classical elegiac tradition. The article also presents the Hebrew edition and Spanish translation of an elegy in prose extant in Bonafed´s diwan. It was written in honour of the mother of an anonymous person.
