The article explores the main aspects of leisure and recreational activities of student youth in the context of health-preservation; determination of methodological approaches in preparation of student youth for the organization of leisure and recreational activities by means of sanative fitness and recreational tourism. The introduction of methodological approaches in the preparation of student youth for the organization of leisure and recreational activities by means of sanative fitness and recreational tourism has significantly affected the overall level of formation of motivational needs, cognitive, creative-activity and evaluative-reflexive components, which has significantly improved compared to students of control groups, who studied according to the traditional system. The selected criteria, indicators, methods and tools for diagnosing the formation of the readiness of future specialists in physical culture and sports for the organization of leisure and recreational activities covered all the characteristics of the studied phenomenon, were interconnected and in their unity reflected the effectiveness of the process of formation of readiness, as well as differentiation by appropriate levels. Implemented methodological approaches have contributed to the quality training of future professionals for the organization of leisure and recreational activities by means of sanative fitness and recreational tourism, especially under pandemic conditions. The educational direction of the organization of educational process provided updating and expansion of the maintenance of the following educational disciplines: «Recreational and physical activity and physical rehabilitation», «Fitness with teaching methods», «Sports and pedagogical improvement in fitness», «Tourism, mobile and recreational games», «Musical-rhythmic education and basics of health fitness», «Modern sports and health technologies». An integrated combination of traditional teaching methods with innovative ones aimed at modeling professional situations, related to leisure and recreational activities of future bachelors of physical culture and sports, was proposed. We also developed and implemented a diary of self-control.

The article contains the results of a study aimed at experimental testing of the effectiveness of the&#13;
STEAM approach in the development of English language skills in future teachers. Random selection&#13;
was used for sampling, the sample was subsequently divided into the experimental group (EG — 49&#13;
students) and the control group (CG — 54 students). The groups were aligned by randomization. An&#13;
experimental methodology consisted in the creation of teams in EG, which worked on the&#13;
development of socially significant projects, communicating in English and developing English&#13;
language skills during the semester. Classes were held online in ZOOM and BigBlueButton with&#13;
video recording, which allowed analysing the achievements and pay attention to mistakes for further&#13;
correction. The obtained results were confirmed by statistical calculations of Pearson’s chi-squared&#13;
test. The study recorded the problems related to the need to explain students the nature, content and&#13;
process of this approach, planning and coordination of the timetable and curricula related to the&#13;
integration of academic subject in more detail. The conditions and opportunities for developing&#13;
English language skills combined with soft skills (communication, critical thinking, creativity and&#13;
collaboration) require further research.

The article provides an in-depth analysis of one of the tools for creating EER for RBL - the Dr.Explain&#13;
software application. It also discusses the capabilities of users and the most effective ways to create&#13;
electronic educational resources in the Dr.Explain program. The aim of the study is to suggest and&#13;
compile methodological guidelines for designing and developing electronic educational resources for&#13;
resource-based learning using Dr.Explain software. Dr.Explain is a program designed to create&#13;
software documentation (help files), help systems, online manuals and user manuals, technical&#13;
documentation for software and technical systems. The experiment involved 523 students of 1 and 4&#13;
courses of study of the specialties 017 «Physical education and sport» and of 1 courses of study 011&#13;
«Educational and Pedagogical Sciences». Among the research methods used are: theoretical (analysis,&#13;
comparison, generalization); pedagogical (pedagogical experiment, pedagogical observation); social&#13;
and psychological (questioning), mathematical (mathematical calculation, ranking, regression). The&#13;
research revealed that Dr.Explain is a useful tool for creating CHM help files, print-ready documents,&#13;
e-books, allowing the user to compile e-learning hypertext resources in two formats (PDF and HTML).&#13;
An analysis of the experience of using such an EER allows us to note that it is recommended to use&#13;
electronic study guides in PDF format on tablets and smartphones, and this means what students do&#13;
when downloading them from the Google platform or an official representative of the university.&#13;
Web site. HTML e-manuals are easy to use by installing them on classroom desktops or students'&#13;
laptops. In general, these EERs (both formats) are easy to install and view, and are independent of the&#13;
operating system and software.

The aim of the study was to analyse the perception of using GoToMeeting and ZOOM when learning&#13;
foreign languages by students of different majors. The article analyses the answers of respondents and&#13;
reveals a number of patterns between the perception of the practice of using GoToMeeting and ZOOM&#13;
by students majoring in philology and students of other majors. The study involved general scientific&#13;
methods and adopted Survey method. Statistics were processed using the average input value method&#13;
and the Mann-Whitney test. The theoretical background for the questionnaire was the Davis technology&#13;
acceptance model. The survey was conducted remotely. The results of the study showed an uneven&#13;
subjective perception of the introduction of distance learning methods by students in both focus groups.&#13;
However, according to an objective assessment of the level of students’ knowledge, both groups&#13;
showed high efficiency of the practice of using GoToMeeting and ZOOM in learning foreign languages.&#13;
The article also presents the criteria that students have identified as necessary when learning a foreign&#13;
language using GoToMeeting and ZOOM. In general, the use of this software allowed raising the level&#13;
of knowledge of a foreign language both among students majoring in philology and among students&#13;
of other majors. The search for optimal methods and models of using this software to increase the&#13;
effectiveness of teaching foreign language is considered the field for further research.

<title>Information Literacy as a Factor of Developing Teaching Competency in Foreign Language Teachers in the People`s Republic of China</title>
<link>https://hdl.handle.net/10481/70105</link>
<description>Information Literacy as a Factor of Developing Teaching Competency in Foreign Language Teachers in the People`s Republic of China
Wanquan, Gao; Tsytsiura, Kseniia V.
The problem of developing information literacy in modern society is urgent because the ability to use&#13;
information resources is one of the ways to carry out effective professional activity. The aim of our&#13;
study is to analyse the development of information literacy of foreign language teachers in the PRC.&#13;
The following research methods have been used for this purpose: comparative pedagogical analysis&#13;
and empirical data analysis. The obtained survey results were processed using qualimetric&#13;
techniques. The results of the survey allowed determining a need to develop information literacy in&#13;
Chinese foreign language teachers. For deeper analysis, observation of teachers was conducted&#13;
during classes, which allowed determining areas of work with them on understanding the&#13;
component of pedagogical competence as an individual professional element and the value attitude&#13;
towards information resources. The main conclusions of the study provide for identification of the&#13;
ways to develop information literacy in Chinese foreign language teachers. At the same time,&#13;
possibilities of using modern interactive methods for information literacy in Chinese foreign language&#13;
teachers were identified. Promising areas of further research may be the study of the use of interactive&#13;
methods in combination with collaborative technologies to develop information literacy in Chinese&#13;
foreign language teachers.
