<description>From stimuli to adoption: an S-O-R approach to blockchain use in tourism
Gálvez-Sánchez, Francisco Jesús; Prados-Castillo, Juan Francisco; Liébana Cabanillas, Francisco José; Lara Rubio, Juan
Purpose&#13;
This study aims to: firstly, it analyzes how external stimuli, privacy, security and government support influence tourists’ internal perceptions (trust, attitude and usefulness) in relation to blockchain adoption in the tourism sector; secondly, to assess the effect of these internal processes on the intention to use the technology, this study broadens the understanding of consumer behavior in digital environments linked to tourism; and thirdly, exploration of the differentiating role of each stimulus to determine which stimuli have the greatest impact on the formation of perceptions and adoption behavior.&#13;
&#13;
Design/methodology/approach&#13;
Based on the stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) model, this study empirically examines how external stimuli (perceived privacy, perceived security and government support) influence internal evaluations (perceived trust, perceived usefulness and attitude) and, in turn, the intention to use blockchain-based solutions. Data were collected through an online survey in Spain using stratified sampling, obtaining 544 valid responses. The model was tested using partial least squares structural equations complemented with predictive analytics (PLSpredict).&#13;
&#13;
Findings&#13;
The results show that perceived privacy positively affects usage intention, whereas government support and perceived security shape users’ psychological processes. Additionally, attitude shows a powerful mediating effect.&#13;
&#13;
Originality/value&#13;
The S-O-R model, which is more flexible and useful in the context of rapid technological innovation, applied with variables from classic models and more current variables (government support), has helped to reformulate some traditional theoretical relationships and explain the effect of government support on technology adoption.
This article is included in the analysis of blockchain technology adoption factors:&#13;

In recent times, a whole philosophy of disclosure of non-financial information has been developing, which has become a priority for organisations seeking to be transparent and responsible. In this line, taking into account that digitalization is a fundamental issue nowadays, companies should report on it. The aim of this study is to determine the degree of disclosure of information on digitalization by IBEX35 companies through a content analysis of their websites. The results show that the total disclosure index is 36.80%, which shows that the companies in the main Spanish stock market index disclose little information on digital matters on their websites, with the most disclosed information being on digital literacy.

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar la relación de la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) con la Cultura Organizacional (CO) y con el Bienestar Laboral (BL), así como la infuencia de la Cultura Organizacional sobre el Bienestar Laboral, desde la percepción de trabajadores de mandos medios en la Industria Manufacturera de Exportación (maquiladora) del sector automotriz de Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental y transversal. La muestra estuvo representada por 87 trabajadores de mandos medios de empresas maquiladoras del sector automotriz en Ciudad Juárez. Para el análisis de datos se utilizó la modelación de ecuaciones estructurales mediante el software WarpPLS 7.0, lo que permitió evaluar simultáneamente las relaciones entre los constructos y contrastar las hipótesis planteadas. Los resultados evidencian una relación positiva y estadísticamente significativa entre la RSE y la cultura organizacional (β = 0.65, p &lt; .01), por lo que la hipótesis correspondiente no fue rechazada. Asimismo, se encontró una relación positiva y significativa entre la cultura organizacional y el bienestar laboral (β = 0.54, p &lt; .01), confirmando que una cultura organizacional sólida y coherente favorece experiencias laborales más positivas. En contraste, la relación directa entre la RSE y el bienestar laboral resultó débil y no significativa (β = 0.15, p = .08), lo que llevó al rechazo de esta hipótesis.; The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between Corporate Social Responsibility&#13;
with Organizational Culture and Workplace Well-being, as well as the possible influence of&#13;
Organizational Culture on Workplace Well-being, according to the perception of middle management&#13;
workers in the Export Manufacturing Industry (maquiladora) in the automotive sector of Ciudad Juárez,&#13;
Chihuahua, Mexico. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental,&#13;
cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 87 middle management employees from maquiladora&#13;
companies in the automotive sector in Ciudad Juárez. Structural equation modeling was used for data&#13;
analysis with WarpPLS 7.0 software, allowing for the simultaneous evaluation of the relationships&#13;
between the constructs and the testing of the proposed hypotheses. The results provides a positive and&#13;
statistically significant relationship between CSR and organizational culture (β = 0.65, p &lt; .01),&#13;
therefore the corresponding hypothesis was not rejected. Furthermore, a positive and significant&#13;
relationship was found between organizational culture and employee well-being (β = 0.54, p &lt; .01),&#13;
confirming that a strong and coherent organizational culture fosters more positive work experiences. In&#13;
contrast, the direct relationship between CSR and employee well-being was weak and not significant&#13;
(β = 0.15, p = .08), leading to the rejection of this hypothesis.

<title>Advancing public administration research: integrating digital governance, institutional resilience, and participatory pathways for public value</title>
<link>https://hdl.handle.net/10481/112630</link>
<description>Advancing public administration research: integrating digital governance, institutional resilience, and participatory pathways for public value
Rodríguez Bolívar, Manuel Pedro
This editorial paper synthesizes recent high-impact scholarship in public administration to articulate a coherent research agenda aligned with the aims and scope of the International Review of Administrative Sciences (IRAS). Drawing on top-tier publications from 2020 to 2025, it systematically structures the field around six interconnected domains: public governance and management; public policy and administrative pro- cesses; institutional analysis and reform; public sector innovation and digital governance; social equity and participatory governance; and crisis governance and administrative resilience. Across these domains, the analysis shows that effective public value creation depends on the interaction between institutional design, administrative and policy cap- acities, participatory mechanisms, and increasingly data-intensive and artificial intelli- gence-enabled digital infrastructures. The editorial paper identifies cross-cutting gaps&#13;
− including limited longitudinal and comparative evidence beyond Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development contexts, insufficient integration of equity and intersectionality in digital participation research, and weak links between innovation and concrete governance outcomes such as trust and distributive effects − and pro- poses six future research lines on: (a) integrating policy capacity and digital transform- ation; (b) institutional adaptation and resilience in complex environments; (c) equity, participation and digital inclusion; (d) crisis governance, administrative learning and resilience; (e) connecting innovation to measurable public value outcomes; and (f) meth- odological advancements through longitudinal, multilevel, network and configurational designs. In doing so, it positions IRAS as a central venue for theoretically ambitious, methodologically rigorous and normatively grounded research that addresses the inter- twined challenges of digitalization, societal complexity and crises in contemporary public administration.
