Una mirada de conjunto Macías Domínguez, Alonso Manuel; Ruiz Sastre, Marta El artículo se centra en las demandas por incumplimiento de palabra de casamiento en la Andalucía occidental de los siglos XVII y XVIII, que eran presentadas ante la Justicia arzobispal, en las que la mayoría de querellantes son mujeres, al igual que en los casos de divorcio, pues veían peligrar su reputación en caso de abandono. Al contrario de lo que pudiera parecer, aun siendo cierto que las mujeres eran las principales víctimas de violencia física o verbal, en muchas ocasiones la posibilidades de éxito masculino eran menores a lo esperado, pese al sistema patriarcal de poder imperante.; The article focuses on the claims for non-compliance with marriage speech in Western Andalusia of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, which were brought before the Archbishop's Justice, in which the majority of plainswomen are women, as in divorce cases , as they saw their reputation shamed in the event of abandonment. Contrary to what might seem, even though women were the main victims of physical or verbal violence, on many occasions the chance of male success was lower than expected, despite the prevailing patriarchal system of power.

La familia en el Reino de Granada en la Edad Moderna Sánchez-Montes González, Francisco Los estudios sobre historia de la familia en el Reino de Granada durante la Edad Moderna han avanzado mucho en los últimos treinta años, arrojando notables resultados científicos, que permiten conocer en gran medida su comportamiento y estructura. Son evidentes las dificultades que existen, en especial por las características del territorio, además de por la compleja reconstrucción del modelo familiar a partir de las posibles fuentes documentales a utilizar. Pese a ello, poseemos un nutrido número de aportaciones sobre el tema, que más allá del estudio cuantitativo han abierto interesantes análisis sobre la familia en el pasado de Andalucía, planteando múltiples aspectos cualitativos, para completar el acercamiento a una de las piezas esenciales de la construcción histórica.; Studies on the history of the family in the Kingdom of Granada during the Modern Age have come a long way in the last thirty years, with remarkable scientific results that provide a great deal of insight into its behaviour and structure. In view of the possible documentary sources to be used, the difficulties that exist are evident, especially on account of the territorial characteristics of the area and the complex reconstruction of the family model. Despite this, we have a large number of submissions on the subject, which, apart from their quantitative contribution, have produced interesting analyses on the family in the past of Andalusia, offering multiple qualitative aspects, thus completing the process of examining one of the essential pieces of historical construction.

Los hogares en Andalucía a finales del Antiguo Régimen Maldonado Cid, Daniel; García González, Francisco Tras constatar la falta de investigaciones para la Andalucía del Antiguo Régimen sobre uno de los aspectos más estudiados de la historia de la familia en España como es la estructura, el tamaño y la composición de los hogares, el objetivo del artículo es aportar datos que contribuyan a ampliar nuestra información al respecto. En primer lugar, porque los hogares son las unidades organizativas clave en la lucha por la supervivencia y la reproducción; y, en segundo lugar, porque nos permitirá realizar análisis comparativos con otras regiones, tanto españolas como europeas o de otras latitudes. Para ello se han utilizado los Libros de Personal Secular del Catastro del Marqués de la Ensenada correspondientes a más de 10000 hogares, así como la sistematización de los resultados dispersos aportados por otras publicaciones.; After verifying the lack of research for Old Regime`s Andalucía about one of the most studied aspects of family history in Spain as households` structure, size and composition, the aim of this article is to provide data in order to contribute to expand our information about it. First, due to households are essential units of organization for survival and reproduction; Secondly, because it will allow us to make comparative analyses among other regions, Spanish and European or other latitudes. Householder Books of the Ensenada`s Cadaster, with more than 10,000 households, have been used as well as the systematization of the scattered results by other publications.

La influencia en las familias malagueñas de emigrantes procedentes de otras regiones españolas (1564-1700) Rodríguez Alemán, Isabel Este trabajo permite avanzar en el conocimiento de la historia demográfica de Málaga, al investigar la estructura y también la evolución de la población que habitó en ella. Se analiza la influencia de la llegada de emigrantes, procedentes del resto de regiones españolas, en la formación de nuevos núcleos familiares durante el período comprendido entre 1564 y 1700. La investigación se ejecuta bajo la metodología de la demografía histórica, mediante el tradicional análisis agregativo, con presentación de resultados, separados para hombres y mujeres participantes, en tablas, perfiles y diagramas sectoriales Y, como novedad principal, se aplica el método de reconstrucción de familias a los inmigrantes. Se muestran los rasgos de las estructuras familiares que crearon, a través de fichas que incluyen sus enlaces matrimoniales, bautizos de sus hijos y defunciones, con el fin de obtener la observación final.; This work allows to advance in the knowledge of the demographic history of Malaga by investigating the structure and also the evolution of the population that inhabited it. The influence of the arrival of emigrants from the rest of the Spanish regions in the foundation of new family nuclei during the period between 1564 and 1700 is also analyzed. This research is carried out under the methodology of historical demography, through the traditional aggregative analysis, with presentation of results, separated for men and women, in tables, profiles and sectoral diagrams. As a main novelty, the method of reconstruction of families is applied to immigrants. The main features of the family structures that they created are shown, through cards that include their marital bonds, baptisms of their children and deaths, in order to obtain the final results.
