Filología y especulación filosófica en la traducción de Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda al De memoria et reminiscentia López Alcalde, Celia Less known than other aspects of him as an intellectual, Juan Ginés de Sepúlveda was a great erudite of his time, a humanist, well versed in Greek and Latin, and devoted much of his time to translating ancient works of philosophy. Among these works are the Aristotelian Parva naturalia, to which he dedicated two translations, the second one ten years apart. Among these treatises is the De memoria et reminiscentia, an interesting but often difficult text to interpret. In this article we provide the edition of the second and corrected translation of 1532, including the variants presented in the previous version of 1522. We will also comment on the most notable differences, focusing especially on the existence of some marginalia in the first version that are not included in the definitive version.

En este artículo daremos algún apunte acerca del modo en que la tradición filosófica y la originalidad luliana se combinan en esta obra, resaltando los que nos parecen los aspectos más característicos e interesantes de la psicología, epistemología y antropología luliana.; Ramon Llull, among the multitude of works he composed, wrote one dedicated exclusively to psychology, a new book on the rational soul, where he discusses and clarifies his vision of the human soul. In this article we will give some notes on the way in which the philosophical tradition and Llullian originality are combined in this work, highlighting what seem to us to be the most idiosyncratic and interesting aspects of Llull's psychology, epistemology and anthropology.

Definiciones varias de Iglesia Díaz Díaz, Pedro Rafael Constituye este trabajo la primera versión directa e íntegra al español del opúsculo leibniziano titulado “Definiciones varias de Iglesia” (= Variae definitiones Ecclesiae), realizada sobre la edición crítica del texto de AA VI, 4C, 2174-2179. No se trata, sin embargo, de una mera traslación descontextualizada al español; por el contrario, las numerosas y detalladas Notas filológicas, que acompañan a la versión española, persiguen como objetivo prioritario identificar los autores, las obras y, en su caso, el pasaje concreto que están en la base de la especulación leibniziana sobre el tema de la reunificación de las Iglesias.; This work represents the first direct and whole translation into Spanish of leibnitian brief treatise entitled “Different definitions of Church” (= Variae definitiones Ecclesiae). It is hurried out on text critical edition AA VI, 4C, 2174-2179. It doesn’t only consist of a simple translation out of context; on the contrary, the wide range of philological quotations in the Spanish version train to reach the main goal of identifying the authors, the plays and, in its case, the specific passage which are on the basis of leibnitian speculation on the matter of the reunification of the Churches.
